Greetings to the Families of the Two Rivers Subdivision:

Conducted by the Architectual Control Board (ACB), the annual meeting of the Two Rivers Subdivision of Mukwonago has been RESCHEDULED to Thursday, August 15th promptly at 7:15 pm at the Mukwonago Public Library.  Our subdivision has witnessed several families occupying their new homes in the last year, and we certainly welcome their attendance for possibly the first time.

Essentially, the meeting is convened to disseminate information in several areas:
  • Provide rationale for annual assessments; and
  • Update funds available to the ACB for vital current and/or forecasted expenses; and
  • Review covenants where there may have been some violations in the past year; and
  • Vote, if necessary to replace members who may have departed the Board; and
  • Answer any queries from homeowners regarding Board activities; and
  • Conduct discussion on any issues presented by attendees

Additionally, the Board may elect to secure individuals to make presentations that it deems may be relevant to the subdivision in general, or to certain homeowners specifically.

Three specific issues are worth noting prior to the meeting:
  1. Mr. Larry Alber has resigned his position on the Board.  Current Chairperson Ken Werner will be therefore accepting the name of anyone who wishes to put their nomination to the Board for a vote during the meeting.  Please e-mail Ken (copy to Amy Waller), indicating name, address, phone number, and a brief note about your background and reason for potentially joining the Board.  It should be noted that the Board meets approximately ten times a year, rotating the meeting venue among the member's homes.  Members receive no compensation for their Board volunteering activity.
  2. After significant debate, the ACB determined that there be NO ASSESSMENT due to the Board this year.  Board members are of the opinion that funds already committed are sufficient to meet current and/or forecasted expense requirements.
  3. Results of discussions at the Board level regarding the ingress/egress areas of the subdivision will be presented.
  4. Our subdivision website is currently being updated, and one may be able to find the much revised site available by our meeting date. More details on the change will be shared at our meeting.  If the construction is finished, we encourage you to check it out ... and offer any comments at our meeting if you wish to add or subtract from messages/graphics on the site.  Thanks to one of our neighbors for providing the

The Board endorses the notion that presentations made by prominent members of the Mukwonago community should be requested and placed on the meeting agenda when available.  Last year attendees enjoyed the address by Dr. Paul Strobel, Superintendent of the Mukwonago School System.

This year, we are much enthused that Mr. Fred Winchowky, Village President, and Mr. Steven A. Braatz, Interim Village Administration and Clerk-Treasurer have agreed to attend our meeting and speak on several issues.  President Winchowky has been deeply involved with the State Department of Transportation on the extensive HWY 83 improvement plans affecting the Village and will update homeowners on the conceptual strategies being discussed.  Mr. Braatz will inform on various issues facing the Village and answer questions regarding the backdrop functions of the Village office.  In addition, Mr. Braatz, who administers each election in the community, will answer questions regarding registration for future voting privileges after the meeting.

Mark your calendar now ... we'll see you on THURSDAY, AUGUST 15TH at the Village Library at 7:15 pm.

Respectfully,

Ken Werner, Chairperson
Amy Waller, Recorder
